This article studies the different kinds of fine ware (Italic, Suthgalic, Hispanicand African sigillata) as well as lamps belonging to the Roman period found in 1990. They were ina big imperial rubbish dump in the outskirts of the city. Towards the end of the II century, this dumpfilled to the edge the natural depression which was to be found in this area. A massive joint of his-panic sigillata, which was quite abundant in this dumper, is studied. Nevertheless, it is another kindof material (such as African sigillata and anphoras) the one that gives chronological accuracy. Thisresearch contributes interesting information about the trade, the material culture and the Romansociety in Valentia.
