    Se presentan los resultados del análisis estilístico aplicado a las figuras humanas levantinas de 6 conjuntos rupestres del núcleo castellonense Valltorta-Gasulla. El objetivo es avanzar en la sistematización estilística de esta manifestación artística con objeto de determinar si existen diversos horizontes gráficos y su dinámica evolutiva. Los resultados revelan que la figura huma-na no siempre se halla ligada al mundo cazador y que existen cambios importantes en sus formas de representación que revelan continuidades y rupturas. En el futuro, la necesidad de profundizar en la relación arte y contexto debe tener en cuenta estas variaciones internas (regionales y temporales),que sin duda debieron quedar reflejadas en otros componentes de la cultura material.PALABRAS CLAVE: Arte Levantino, estilo, secuencia, figura humana

    Human figure, paradigm of continuity and change in Levantine Rock Art.The results of the stylistic analysis of human figures of 6 rock art shelters are presented. Those shelters are located in the Valltorta-Gasulla territory. We aimed for the stylistic systematization of thisrock art, in order to discover if different graphic phases exist and their evolution. The results highlight that human motifs not always appear in hunting scenes and also that there are important variations in the way of representing. These changes suggest patterns of continuity and change. In thefuture, the need to go deeply into the connections between art and context has to take into accountthese regional and temporary internal variations, since they should be also visible in other compo-nents of the material culture
