Resumen de La invisibilidad de la literatura negra norteamericana
This paper examines the conflict between the individual and the community in three novels written by coloured American authors. Our aim is to show that throughout three different stages of American history, the problem of the individual voice is still unsolved. Disregarding the author's race, American literature dangles between two irreconcilable stances.
