Resumen de A Short History of Forth

Xavier Campos Vilanova

  • According to the well known Rydén's rationale, this is one of those diachronic studies devoted to a particular problem through more than one period.

The paper describes the distributional behaviour of forth throughout the history of the English language.

The data here shown allow the reader to notice the distributional continuity of English phrasal verbs as defined by K. Sroka; that is, a system with a set of defined collocations which seems not to have essentially changed with the passage of centuries.
