    La Constitución Pastoral sobre la Iglesia en el mundo actual, Gaudium et Spes, el año 2005 cumplió 40 años, razón por la cual se hace necesario hacer un balance de cuánto se ha avanzado en los lineamientos generales dados por el Concilio Vaticano II y en particular por los señalados en esta Constitución. Se analizan los pensamientos más destacados de la Constitución, entre los cuales se pueden destacar: los signos de los tiempos; luces y sombras de la actividad humana.

    The Biblical Constitution about the Church in the present world, Gaudium ET Spes, year 2005, has just turned 40 years old. For this reason, it becomes necessary to reflect how much it has advanced in the general proceedings given by Vatican Council II and in particular by what has been indicated in this Constitution. The most outstanding thoughts of the Constitution are analysed, that is the ones which are possible to be emphasized; the signs of the times; lights and shadows of the human activity.
