    Las relaciones cívico militares, han estado enmarcadas por las concepciones que se tienen de la seguridad nacional, dentro de los Estados y su eje de influencia. Este elemento ha sido cambiante en relación con los diferentes cambios históricos la guerra fría, el mundo unipolar. Los estudiosos de estas materias, han propendido por la identificación de perspectivas nacionales de seguridad y la influencia por parte de las potencias si se toma en cuenta la situación de América Latina y la estructuración del concepto del enemigo común o enemigo interno, para identificar la proliferación del anticomunismo en el Hemisferio, lo cual nos lleva hasta la actualidad y la lucha frontal contra el terrorismo y sus múltiples características. En concordancia con lo anterior, la Universidad Militar Nueva Granada, se encuentra a la cabeza de la investigación en cuanto a la seguridad y los estudios estratégicos, lo cual le ha permitido ubicar y configurarse como el principal centro de investigación y estudio sobre estos temas.

    The Civic-military Relations, they have been framed by the conceptions of the National Security, to the interior of the States and their axis influence. This element has been changing in connection with the different historical changes the cold war, the bipolar world, the unipolar world. The specialists of these matters, have offered for the identification of National Security perspectives and the influence on the part of the powers if we take into account the situation of Latin America; and the structuring of the concept of the common enemy or internal enemy, to identify the proliferation of the anticommunism in the hemisphere, that which takes us until the present time and the front fight against the terrorism and their multiple ones characteristic. In agreement with the above-mentioned, the Universidad Militar Nueva Granada, is actually the head of the investigation in the Security and the Strategic Studies; that has allowed it to be located and to be configured as the main investigation center and study on these topics.
