Resumen de Territorio, etnicidad y cultura material: Estelas "Del Bajo Aragón"... en Cataluña Nororiental
Se presenta una serie de cuatro estelas del tipo habitualmente conocido como `del Bajo Aragón' procedentes sin embargo del área catalana e insuficientemente conocidas. Se estudian dentro del contexto de la hipótesis planteada por F. Burillo de que las estelas bajoaragonesas puedan constituir un cierto indicador arqueológico o al menos ritual de los recientemente reivindicados Ausetanos del Ebro, asentados lejos de los Ausetanos catalanes, en cuyo territorio o cercanías han aparecido las estelas a las que ahora nos referimos. Proponemos, a la vista de los datos que reflejan estas estelas, que quizá los Ausetanos del Ebro y los Ausetanos catalanes compartieron algo más que sólo el identificador étnico transmitido por las fuentes latinas. SUMMARY We present a group of four stelae of the 'Lower Aragón type'. This type of inscribed funerary stelae are usually found in a fairly small anea in the middle course of the river Ebro, in the southeastern part of the province of Zaragoza and northern areas of Teruel. However, the four stelae published in this paper have been found in a completely different area, that of north-eastern Catalonia, and have never been properly studied. We analyze them within the context of the hypothesis, recently put forward by F. Burillo, that the 'Lower Aragón' stelae could be an achaeological indicator of the recently identified Ausetani of the Ebro Valley. As the Catalonian stelae come from an area belonging to, or near to, the territory of the supposedly different Ausetani from Catalonia, we put forward the hypothesis that perhaps these two peoples were related to each other by more than just a common narre transmitted by Latin sources.
