Nuevas dataciones para la Edad Media del Bronce en la cuenca del río Alfambra (Teruel)

  • En este artículo se presentan y discuten las últimas dataciones radiocarbónicas obtenidas en yacimientos de la cuenca del río Alfambra, que amplían la serie de fechas de este sector de la provincia de Teruel y, en general, apuntan resultados de interés para la sistematización de la Edad del Bronce en el área ibero-levantina. Las nuevas dataciones vienen a ratificar hipótesis cronológicas expuestas en anteriores trabajos, confirmando la existencia de una fase muy temprana dentro del Bronce Antiguo, con las primeras ocupaciones datadas entre los siglos XX y XVIII a.C. (2400-2100 cal B.C.), y una segunda fase, avanzada o plena, entre los siglos XVIII y XVII a.C. (2100-1900 cal B.C.). ABSTRACT This paper presents and discusses the last radiocarbon datings obtained in sites from the basin of the Alfambra river, in the North-East of the Iberian península. These datings extend the date series of the province of Teruel (Spain) and, as a whole, they provide interesting results for the systematizing of the Brome Age in the Iberian and Levantine areas. These new radiocarbon datings have ratified come chronological hypotheses already exposed in previous projects, and they have confirmed the existence of a initial phase within Early Brome Age, with the first occupations dated among the centuries XX and XVIII b.c. (2400-2100 cal B.C.), and a second phase, among the centuries XVIII and XVII b.c. (2100-1900 cal B.C.).
