    Este artículo analiza la figura del personaje protagonista en la obra del director Stanley Kubrick desde una perspectiva eminentemente narrativa. A partir de la observación de la vida pasada del personaje es posible determinar las líneas básicas que trazan su configuración y su función en la historia. Entenderemos por vida interior la información relativa al pasado del personaje transmitida desde el propio discurso. En una segunda fase evaluaremos la cantidad de información ofrecida acerca de la backstory de cada uno de los protagonistas.

    This article analyzes the figure of the main character in the work of director Stanley Kubrick from an eminently narrative perspective. From the study of the character¿s backstory it is possible to determinate the basic lines that draw his configuration and his function in the story. The backstory will be defined as the information about the character¿s past activated in the story. In the second phase we will evaluate the quantity of offered information it brings over of the backstory of each one of the protagonists.
