Esta es una investigación que ha pretendido un acercamiento a las cuestiones judiciales del cabildo de la catedral de León en el primer cuarto del siglo XVI, teniendo como base los documentos encontrados en la Real Audiencia y Chancillería de Valladolid, y acompañados de los descubiertos en las investigaciones realizadas en el Archivo Histórico Municipal de León y en el Archivo de la catedral de León, junto con apoyos puntuales del Archivo Diocesano de León. Se ha pretendido obtener conclusiones respecto al poder e influencia de una institución como el cabildo catedralicio leonés en la sociedad leonesa, a través de la temática y la tipología de los pleitos estudiados.

In this investigation it has been wanted to see the judicial conclusions of the town hall of the cathedral of León, in the first quarter of century XVI using documents found in the real Haering and Chancillería of Valladolid, and also other found in the Municipal Histórical file of León, in the file of Cathedral of León and in the Diocesano file also of León. It has been wanted to find conclusions on the influence and the power of the town hall of the cathedral of León in the León society, through thematic and the tipologia of the studied lawsuits.
