The present work identifies the push and limiting environmental factors of export companies in the Maule Region. This is done on the basics of a consectional descriptive study through the application of a survey to a representative sample of export companies. It was concluded that companies that adopt an environmental policy face push factors such as a weeded adaptation to local and foreign laws and to market demands. Such companies also face limiting factors, such as high Ð cost investment in material and human resources and the lack of management.
