A biometrical study of I specimens of Dactylisglomerata L. collected in NW Spain (Galicia) and in Portugal, belonging to 15 populations with three different ploidy levels (2x, 4x and 6x) is made. The results show that there is not a single character which could be used to separate the three pioidy levels. However, a combination of seven of studied variables clearly discriminates 94,28 % of the specimens.
