Estudio que analiza la secular trayectoria rebelde de la antigua capital de los godos, Toledo, durante los siglos VIII y IX, y las relaciones político-militares de sus dirigentes con los neogóticos reyes de la "Gallaccia" (con capitales respectivas en Oviedo y León) durante el primer tercio del siglo X a través de los testimonios recogidos en las crónicas musulmanas y en los documentos latinos, donde aparecen citados por este mismo tiempo varios personajes de posible procedencia toledana, entre los cuales Lup iben Alcutia, a quien cabe identificar con cabecilla toledano Lope b. Tarbisa.

Study that analyzes the centennial rebel trajectory of the ancient Gothic capital, Toledo, during the VIllth and IXth Centuries as well as the political and military relationships of its leaders with the Neogothic kings of "Gallaccia" (whose capitals were Oviedo and Leon respectively) during the first third of the Xth Century through the testimonies compiled in the Muslim chronicles and in the Latin documents, where various characters of a Toledan provenance appear around this time, among them Lup iben Alcutia, identifiable with the Toledan leader Lope b. Tarbisa.
