Adorno admitted in different occasions that he had been a regular reader of Kant. In this article I set out to show the sign that that reading of Kant has left in some central points of Adorno¿s philosophy (in spite of the severe reserves that the program of a ¿negative dialectic¿ maintains with respect to Kant).
In particular, I will try to show how the role that the concept-limit of thing-in-itself carried out in the transcendental idealism is occupied in Adorno¿s ¿negative dialectic¿ by the invitation to persecute a philosophy of the non-identity.
