The article analyzes the relation of Greece with the European Union (EU), the new enlargement of the EU to the Balkans and the Black Sea, and it records Greek developmental help to this region. The article constitutes an effort of recording of objectives, places and priorities of Greece concerning the EU, from 1981 until today. At the same time it becomes investigation of new situation that is shaped in EU after the integration of states from the Balkan and Black Sea space and the policy that follows Greece, policy which is also connected with the developmental and humanitarian aid that it grants to the countries of the region.
