    El encargado de negocios de España en Grecia, Sebastián de Romero y Radigales, comunicaba al Gobierno español que la Comisión de Plenos Poderes griega había votado un proyecto de resolución sobre la repatriación de los bienes muebles e inmuebles que los griegos residentes en Grecia y en el extranjero y los extranjeros residentes en ese país poseían fuera de esta nación. El decreto obligaba también a poner a disposición del gobierno la fortuna que tuvieran fuera del país los extranjeros que residían en Grecia. Esta medida obedecía al hecho de que el plan Marshall estipulaba que todas las naciones participantes en el Programa de Recuperación Europea (E.R.P.) estaban obligadas a utilizar los bienes de sus súbditos en el exterior para la reconstrucción del país. Mención aparte requiere el papel desempeñado por el diplomático español en favor de la colonia española en Grecia, a la que también le afectaría dicho Proyecto.

    The Spanish Chargé d¿Affaires in Greece, Sebastián de Romero y Radigales, communicated to the Spanish government that the Greek Commission of Full Powers had voted an Act about the repatriation of personal property and real estate that the Greek resident in Greece and abroad and the foreign residents in that country owned out of this nation. The decree also forced to offer the government the fortune that the resident foreigners in Greece owned out of the country. This measure was due to the fact that the Plan Marshall stipulated that all the participating countries in the European Recovery Programme (E.R.P.) were forced to use the goods of its citizens abroad for the reconstruction of the country. It has to be mentioned also the part played by the Spanish diplomat in favour of the Spanish colony in Greece, to which would also affect the Act about the Greek fortunes
