Resumen de Estudio comparativo del tratamiento quirúrgico de la escoliosis idiopática medicante técnica de barra única y barra doble

  Se presenta un estudio comparativo retrospectivo del tratamiento quirúrgico de la escoliosis idiopática mediante la técnica de artrodesis y fijación con barra única o barra doble. Se han incluido 54 pacientes (36 con barra única y 18 con barra doble) con un seguimiento entre 24 y 64 meses. Las correcciones obtenidas en plano coronal como sagital y en la oblicuidad de la vértebra límite son superpoinbles. Las correcciones con los desequilibros y traslación de la vértebra apical son mejores con la barra única. El tiempo quirúrgico fue muy superior con la barra doble, donde también se presentaron los únicos casos de infección profunda tardía. La configuración de barra única se compota como la técnica menos estable (6 luxaciones de uña y 2 roturas de barra) siendo, por esta causa, mayor las pérdidas de corrección en este grupo.

  A retrospective comparative study of the surgical treatment of the idiopathic scoliosis by means of the artrodesis and fixation with single and dual rod techniques is presented. A total of 54 patients have been included (36 with single rod and 18 with dual rod) with a pursuit between 24 and 64 months. The corrections obtained in frontal like sagittal plane and in the bias of the limit vertebra they are overlapping. The corrections of the imbalances and adjournment of the apical vertebra are better with the single road. The surgical time was very superior with the dual rod, where the only cases of late deep infection were also presented. The configuration of single rod behaves as the technique less estable (6 nail luxations and 2 rod breaks) being, for this cause, bigger the correction losses in the group.
