    Con la Paz de Amiens concertada en marzo de 1802 entre Francia e Inglaterra el turismo se desentumedeció de repente con singular energía . Un alto al fuego que a determinadas comarcas del continente permitió disfrutar de un animado veranillo turístico de poco más de un año de duración. No mucho tiempo, pero suficiente para que el turismo desplegara su enorme potencial.
