Resumen de Taxonomic studies of Podostemaceae of Thailand. 2, Subfamily Tristichoideae and Subfamily Podostemoidae with Ribbon-like Roots

  • This paper revises the taxonomy of the species with rihbon-like ronís of subfamily Podostemoidese and sil apecies of subfamily Tristichoidese in Thailand. The Tristiehoidese comprise Dalzellia with four. sil new, species (D. anguatissima, D. kailarsenii, D. ranongenaiz, D. ubonena ja); Cusaetia (gen. nov.) with C. divera(folia, whieh is tranoferred from Dalzellia, togesher with C. carinata of Cambodia and Laos; and Terniopsia wish Ibree new species (E brevt~ea, E ramosa, E ubonensis) and nne new reeord for Thailand (E malayana). Malaccotristicha is referable So Ihe emended genus Terniapais. The subfamily Podostemoidese includes Paracladopus chiangmaiensis (gen. & sp. nov.), Cladopus, with two apecies, of which Cia/lar it a new record, and Polypleurum with nine species, seven of which and nne variesy are new (P erectum, E langicaule, E longtfolium, E longislylosum, E phuwuaense, E rubroradicana, E wallichii var. parvum, E wongprasertii). A previous paper reported 13 opecies asaigned so three genera of Podostemoideas with crustaceous roots. Sn total, nine genera and 34 species of Podostemacese occur in Thailand, indicating Shat Thailand, like southem India and Sri Lanka, is a GenSer of distrihution for She family in Asia.
