El Auxilio Social falangista y la propia Falange se convirtieron, con el tiempo, en una tortura para millones de españoles. Ahora bien, hasta que esto no fue evidente, no cabe duda que la cobertura social de la Falange desempeñó un papel crucial en la atención de la población hambrienta. Así pues, con el presente artículo hemos querido elaborar un retrato de aquella atención falangista en los primeros años de la posguerra en Almería y ver de paso cómo la Falange, a pesar de todo, se vio convertida en el mejor paraguas protector que tuvo Franco para evitar unas críticas que de otro modo nunca Ias habría podido esquivar.

The falangist «Auxilio Social» and the own Falange turned with the time into a torture for million Spanish. However, until this was not evident, doubt does not fit that the social coverage of the Falange played a crucial role in the attention of the hungry population. Therefore, with the present article we have wanted to elaborate a portrait of that falangist attention in the first years of the postwar period in Almería and to see of step how the Falange, regardless, one was turned the best shield than it had Franco to avoid critics that otherwise never could them have avoided.
