El estudio de un horno cerámico romano en el extremo oriental de la provincia Betica permite conocer un poco mejor la estructura productiva del Campo de Dallas en los siglos II a IV d.C. El estudio de los restos antes de su destrucción en 1988, junto a otros testimonios procedentes del área, parece confirmar la importancia de la producción de aceite en la Antigüedad tardía, exportada empleando una variante del ánfora Dr. 20.
The study of a Roman ceramic furnace in the Eastern end of the Betica province allows to know a little better the productive structure the Field of Dallas in centuries II-IV AD. The study of the rest before its destruction in 1988, next to other testimonies coming from the area, seems to confirm the importance of the olive oil production in the Antiquity, exported using a variant of amphora Dr 20.
