Resumen de La géographie de la population et le nettoyage ethnique en ex-Yougoslavie

This paper proposes a typology of ethnie cleansing, emphasizes how difficult it is to take all its aspects into account, then deals with its effects on the population of the affected territories : number of inhabitants, ethnic structure, birth-rate, mortality, age structure, distribution of population between towns and surrounding country, migratory perspectives. The examples are taken in Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo.

Cet article propose une typologie du nettoyage ethnique, souligne la difficulté d'en cerner tous les aspects, puis envisage son impact sur le peuplement des territoires concernés : nombre d'habitants, composition ethnique, natalité, mortalité, structure par âges, répartition entre villes et campagnes, perspectives migratoires. Les exemples sont pris en Croatie, en Bosnie-Herzégovine et au Kosovo.
