  • Architeuthis caught in South African waters Four specimens of Architeuthis caught in South African waters are described. This is a contribution to the knowledge of the biology and taxonomy of the genus, which is still in the stage of collection and description. In the stomach of one specimen, cephalopod remains were found, which confirms previous findings of the authors.
