    Este trabajo tiene como eje la idea de que la literatura -y especialmente la novela- es, para el lector, revelación del mundo. Suscita adhesión e identificación con sus valores. El trabajo reivindica la figura del autor, sustentador de la narración, y recoge diversos aportes de Freud al campo literario. Examina la construcción novelística del personaje en Tolstoi, y la deconstrucción en Dostoyevski, así como diversos caminos en la destrucción y recontrucción del personaje novelístico del siglo XX.

    This study revolves around the idea that literature in general -and especially the novel- is a means of revealing the world to the reader. It gives rise to the acceptance of and the identifications with its system of values. The article rehabilitates the figure of the author, who keeps the narration moving, and notes several of Freud¿s contributions to the field of Literature. The study examines both the construction of the fictional character in Tolstoi and its deconstruction in Dostoievsky, as well as the different means used to destoy and reconstruct fictional character in the 20th. century.
