Continuing the contextualisation and consolidation of the structures of the Roman house of the city of Iruña/Veleia known as “Domus del Impluvium”, the work has concentrated on the main facade of this town dwelling. The most relevant results are possibly the information gathered from the decorative elements. The exterior walls were carefully decorated with paintings and stucco mouldings, pillars and borders with vegetable motifs in relief, etc. The dwelling, finished in the Flavian period, was still in use at lest until the mid V century A.D. when it was rebuilt with a new entrance, moved from the centre towards the east and having a rubbish tip inside one of the tabernae that had fallen into disuse. The level of recovered items continues to be highly significant, illustrating the commercial life of the zone throughout its existence. This is particularly significant as it belongs to the much less known Late Roman period.
