    Las Inversiones Socialmente Responsables en España [JOSEP MARÍA LOZANO SOLER, LAURA ALBAREDA VIVO I NI° ROSARIO BALAGUER FRANCH] L'any 1.997 apareix a Espanya el primer fons socialment responsable. Pere) no és fins a finals de 1.999 quan es creen a Espanya un important nombre d'aquests tipus de fons, i el sector de la inversió socialment responsable experimenta un notable creixement. Tot i això, al llarg d'aquests darrers anys, a España aquests tipus d'inversions socialment responsables no han experimentat nivells de desenvolupament tant importants com a altres països europeus, malgrat que, des deis darrers anys, s'ha començat a comercialitzar un número significatiu de fons socialment responsables gestionats i domiciliats fora de l'estat, la qual cosa podria interpretar-se com una aposta pel mercat espanyol. En aquest sentit, l'article ofereix una visió sistemàtica de l'evolució seguida per aquest tipus de fons espanyols durant el període 1999-2002, així com una anàlisi de la metodologia de preselecció de carteres, i de la participació de les organitzacions d'interès social en l'estructura i desenvolupament dels fons. També es planteja una breu reflexió sobre l'escassa normativa legal existent a España relacionada amb aquest tipus de productes.

    L'article Las Inversiones Socialmente Responsables en España, deis professos universitaris Lozano, Albareda i Balaguer, és, en definitiva, el resultat d'una línia d'investigació que pretén informar i promoure la reflexió i l'anàlisi sobre els fons socialment responsables, vinculats directament als valors ético-sociais i a la responsabilitat social de les empreses, com agents econòmics, i deis individus, com a inversors.

    Socially Responsibly Investments in Spain [JOSEPH MARÍA LOZANO SOLER, LAURA ALBAREDA VIVO I Mª ROSARIO BALAGUER FRANCH] The first primer socially responsible fund appeared in Spain in 1997. But it was not until the end of 1999 when a major number of these types of funds were created in Spain, and the socially responsible investment sector grew notably. Even so, over the last few years, in Spain these types of socially responsible investments have not grown as significantly as in other European countries, despite the fact that in recent years a major number of socially responsible funds managed and located outside Spain have been marketed, which could be interpreted as Spain being seen as a good opportunity. In this regard, the article offers a systematic overview of the evolution of this type of Spanish funds in the period 1999-2002, as well as an analysis of the methodology for the pre-selection of portfolios, and of the participation of social interest organisations in the structure and development of the funds. It also gives some food for thought on the poor degree of regulation in Spain related to this type of products.

    The article, Socially Responsible Investments in .Spain, by the University professors Lozano, Albareda and Balaguer, is, in a few words, the findings of a line of research that aims to inform and promote thought and analysis on socially responsible funds, linked directly to ethical and social values and to the social responsibility of companies, such as economic agents, and of individuals, as investors.
