The second excavation campaign at this site produced significant results, particularly those regarding the systematic documentation of the hill on which the site is located. It was shown that there was a great dispersion of early pottery material on the north-west slope and an almost complete lack of the same on the terraced southwest, according to the sondages carried out there. On this latter slope a number of structures were detected, the chronology and function of which are yet to be determined. Continuing the work initiated in 1998 in the currently most fertile area, a sufficient quantity and quality of pottery material has been revealed to justify a techno-typological study. One sector of this excavated zone is outstanding for its large concentration of fired ware. However, it should be pointed out that post-depositional processes of a human origin and of uncertain chronology may have affected the stratigraphic integrity of the materials
