  • The IV excavation campaign at Church of San Martín de Buruntza has been focussed on terminating sondage nº 5 with the raising of the last two rows of burial graves located by said sondage as well as the location of burial fosses excavated at natural level. The work to identify the structures revealed in sondage nº 4 has continued, having widened the number of elements identified from the previous campaign. The head wall was attempted anew, reopening sondage Nº 3, as it was here that the first recognisable walled structures appeared. Finally, two new spaces have been opened: sondages Nº6 and Nº7, specifically aimed at interpreting the space enclosed by the church porch area.
