  • As forecast, the 2002 season resulted in a significantly higher number of discoveries being made than in recent years (both as regards fauna and industry). Special mention should be made of the discovery of the remains of stones tools, which seem to be extremely old, next to diverse bear remains in the lower level between those uncovered in the vicinity of Lezetxiki II.
