  • During 2001 excavation work focused on the NE end of the corridor running between the two buildings. Under the pebbled floor 8 graves were discovered along with a number of ash stains, a lime floor and a coin. Furthermore, a team from the University of the Basque Countr y, directed by Dr Agustín Azkarate, is currently studying the walls in an attempt to reconstruct the evolution of the building through the thousand years since its construction.
