    • Interview with Manuel Pimentel [ROMAN CASTRO] The former Minister of Work and Social Affairs, Manuel Pimentel, is interviewed by the director of the Diàlegs journal. Away from political life, and now engaged in doing what he dubs entrepreneur by day and writer by night, he addresses many of the challenges which in his opinion society has to face up to at this time. He sees the debates on migratory flow, upheavals in the job market or the impact of the European Union as the major issues to be tackled. Moreover, he talks about the need for mankind to recover its values, and to dispense with anything that takes man away from the centre of the debate. Mr. Pimentel, with the insight of a man who has a veritable human dimension, refers to the obligation that we are all bound by to adapt to change, since all societies are in constant movement, and to recover respect for individuals, whoever they may be, wherever they hail from and whatever language they speak.
