  • The so called post-islamism [XAVIER BALLESTÍN NAVARRO] Post-islamism is a word used to explain a new social and political situation arising in moslem countries where there were islamic governments. Their failure in building a fully islamic society has produced a set of new phenomena whose main feature is the loss of the relationship between islam and his political message. Moslems try to live up according to islamic standards on more personal fields and islam as a religion is going to be separated from politics. These changes are fully appreciated in Iran and Egypt.
