Education, development and religious terrorism [ JORGE CÁRDENAS ] At the moment, immersed in a global world that may be disconcerting and even frightening, religious groups are tending towards radicalisation. In this regard attention must be drawn to the importance, particularly in certain social contexts, of the sectarian groups that seek to rescue the "foundations" of their traditions. The author will refer to the question of religious development to address the subject, availing himself of J. W. Fowler, calling for a spirituality of inclusion that promotes globalisation in peace, where (healthy) fundamentalisms act within the framework of a tolerant and universalistic faith. We should not be alarmed when people return to their roots and seek self-assertion, provided that there is a preventive action based on the promotion of a mature religiousness as the best defence against religious terrorism. And here the lay state has a role to play, basically through the schools, through classes in religion that allow pupils to develop a mature ecumenical faith on the basis of their own traditions. The author concludes that the challenge facing us is to avoid religious individualism and integralist fundamentalist communitarism.

Educació, desenvolupament i terrorisme religiós JORGE CÁRDENAS] Actualment, immersos en un mòn global que pot causar desconcert i por, els grups religiosos tendeixen a radicalitzar-se. En aquest punt, convé destacar la importància, sobretot en certs contextos socials, dels grups sectaris que procuren rescatar els «fonaments» de les seves tradicions. L'autor ¿que, per a abordar la qüestiò plantejada, es refereix a la qüestió del desenvolupament religiós tot recorrent a J. W. Fowler¿ advoca per una espiritualitat de la inclusió, que afavoreixi una globalització en pau, on juguin lliurement els fonamentalismes (sans) en l'àmbit d'una fe tolerant i universalista. No ens ha d'alarmar que horn retorni a les fonts i s'hi vulgui autoafirmar, sempre que hi hagi una acciò preventiva basada en el foment d'una religiositat madura, com a millor defensa contra el terrorisme religiòs. I aquí l'Estat laic ha d'incidir-hi, fonamentalment a l'escola, mitjançant unes classes de religiò que afavoreixin que els alumnes desenvolupin una fe ecumênica madura des de les seves pròpies tradicions. L'autor conclou que el desafiament que tenim és evitar tant l'individualisme religiós a ultrança com el comunitarisme fonamentalista integrista.
