  • Professor Adrados, Member of the Royal Spanish Language Academy, offers a short paper including some Spanish words coming from ancient greek. He first corrects some mistakes existing in ancient editions; then he writes down several words coming from latin but those latin words coming themselves from greek. Fourth chapter is especially interesting as it deals with some arabic words coming either from ancient greek and from latin. Semantic copies from latin, as passio , pathos, are also included.
