    En este trabajo se intenta ofrecer un panorama de la aportación que tuvieron ala Hacienda Real algunos tributos y derechos situados sobre productos y actividades desarrollados por los castellanos durante su proceso de expansión atlántica a finales de la Edad Media. Con la base de la amplia bibliografía existente y de documentación procedente del archivo de Simancas y Municipal de Sevilla, valoramos la contribución de algunas rentas obtenidas en las Islas Canarias, o por actividades en la costa africana, a los ingresos conseguidos por la Corona castellana entre finales del siglo XV y comienzos del XVI.

    This work presents a survey of the financial contribution deriving from some pecuniary burdens and duties placed on those products and activities carried out by the Castillians throughout the Atlantic expansion enterprise in the late Middle Ages. Taking as sources the wide bibliography available and the extant documents at the files of the Simancas Archives and the Public Municipal Record Office at Seville, we attempt to assess the contribution of some of the taxes obtained both from the Canary Islands and the African coastal activities to the basic revenues of the Castillian Crown between the end of the 15th and the beginning of the 16th centuries.
