  • Resumen
    • Taking the images of Mexico’s “Day of the Dead” that Eisenstein would first see in the German magazine Kolnische Illustrierte, a survey was made of the German illustrated magazines of the time which dealt with Mexico. It was deduced that these magazines would plant the seed for the film Que Viva México! The research was completed with an analysis of the books related to Mexico that can be found in Eisenstein’s library in Moscow.
