Resumen de El turismo rural en teritorios periféricos: el ejemplo de algunas comarcas del oeste castellano-leonés

Este artículo hace una valoración de los procesos y efectos inducidos por una nueva y creciente forma de ocupación del espacio y de utilización del medio en las zonas periféricas y marginales, como es el "turismo rural". Para ello, tras definir inicialmente cuáles son las referencias y planteamientos que le sirven de contexto, se hace un análisis sectorial y territorial más preciso. Tomando como ejemplo las comarcas fronterizas de la provincia de Zamora, se apuntan cuáles son las dimensiones generales que orientan la actividad turística en la zona -destacando especialmente su situación "fronteriza", generadora de singulares iniciativas-, se identifican los recursos en que se fundamenta el turismo rural aquí desarrollado y se analizan las realidades y resultados en que se traduce (desde los flujos de visitantes que se acercan a estos espacios hasta los apoyos institucionales y financieros públicos y privados). Se hace, finalmente, un balance en el que, tras señalar las ideas concluyentes más destacadas, se apuntan los principales problemas y las perspectivas de evolución.

This article makes a valuation of the processes and effects induced by a new and growing form of occupation of the space and of utilization of the middle in the peripheral and marginal zones, as is the "rural tourism". For this, after defining initially which are the references and positions that serve to him as context, is made a sectoral and territorial analysis more accurate. Taking as example the border regions of the province of Zamora, are noted which are the general dimensions that guide the tourist activity in the zone -emphasizing especially her situation "border", generating of singular initiatives-, are identified the resources in which is based the here developed rural tourism and are analyzed the realities and resulted in which is translated (from the visitor flows that are approached these spaces until the institutional supports and public and private financiers). It is made, finally, a balance in the one which, after indicating the conclusive ideas more outstanding, are noted the principal problems and the perspectives of evolution.
