    En primer lugar, este trabajo se ocupa de la relación que existe entre Los autonautas¿ y otros textos cortazarianos, basada fundamentalmente en el interés por lo que está al margen del camino: los ¿paraderos¿ , además del juego como acceso a una realidad segunda. Su importancia reside en que importan más las paradas que el camino, porque allí es donde se producen los encuentros y tienen lugar diversas aventuras. En segundo lugar, este libro que da cuenta de un viaje desaforado, regido por unas reglas de juego, entre las que se encuentra la obligación de escribir sobre la experiencia, se presenta como una parodia de los libros de viajes. Si los exploradores no ven la autopista sino lo que está al lado de ella ¿los paraderos- nada más lógico que la escritura se realice ¿al lado¿ (para) del género en el que se inscribe.

    First and foremost, this work is concerned with the relationship that exists between Los autonautas de la cosmopista and other Cortazarian texts which are fundamentally based on an interest in what is at the side of the road- the stopovers- as well as an interest in another, second, reality. Its significance resides in the idea that the stops along the road are more important than the road itself because it is there (at the stops) where meetings occur and different adventures take place. Secondly, this book about a crazy trip that is regulated by certain rules of the game (rules such as one in which you discover the need to write about experience) is composed as a parody of travelogues. If adventurers see not the highway but what is at the side of the highway- the stopovers- then it is more logical that the writing be done at ¿the side¿ of the genre in which it was registered.
