This text makes a somewhat ironic reflection on the destinies awaiting the old forms of visual art, which today find themselves in the midst of a battlefield due to the generalized aggressiveness of the media. The ideas explored by Paul Virilio in ‘Silence Procedure’ (2001), in theoretical terms, and the proposal of a project of reinsertion of the traditional work of art, in practical terms, may come to stop the loss of voice which afflicts traditional visual art and to some extent temper the sudden insignificance of what has begun to be considered a sort of implausible silent art.
