    El artículo de Carles Escera cumple en mi opinión una función muy importante al presentar en España la Neurociencia Cognitiva como una aproximación integradora al estudio de la mente, el cerebro y la interacción entre ellos. En mi comentario discutiré algunos aspectos de la dificultad para definir y situar, a nivel conceptual, la Neurociencia Cognitiva en el marco de las disciplinas de las que se nutre. Mostraré mi convicción de que el camino abierto por la Neurociencia Cognitiva es el camino a seguir en el futuro y analizaré la importancia de la Psicología Cognitiva en el marco de la Neurociencia Cognitiva.

    Escerá's paper serves in my opinion the important function of presenting in Spain the Cognitive Neuroscience discipline, as an integrative approach to the study of mind, brain, and their interaction. In my comment I will discuss same issues regarding the difficulties in defining and positioning Cognitive Neuroscience, at a conceptual level, within the framework of the disciplines from which it emerges. I am convinced that the path open by Cognitive Neuroscience in the study of cognition is the one to be followed in the future. I will state this conviction at the same time that I will analyse the important role of Cognitive Psychology within the Cognitive Neuroscience framework.
