  • Science in space is the cornerstone for the scientific community to find answers to the fundamental questions raised through their research activities. The very favorable environment of space, combined with the ever-increasing capabilities of space systems, contribute to a very high potential for mankind to enlarge its understanding of the universe. The Cosmic Vision plan set out by the scientific community defines the main strategies to follow in order to answer the main questions of the next 10-20 years. Space technology and space system concepts are introducing the necessary tools to concretize these projects.
