El capital social de las organizaciones y su entorno: conceptualización teórica, medición e intervención en la generación del capital social

    El análisis y la evaluación del capital social existente en una determinada red de relaciones individuales, organizacionales, sociales o comunitarias se han constituido en un instrumento de gran utilidad para aquellos que dirigen y gestionan las organizaciones. Midiendo el capital social de una red podemos diagnosticar la cantidad y la calidad de las relaciones existentes en una red. Las organizaciones con mayor capacidad de desarrollo sostenible son aquellas que sitúan su cultura y acción en el conjunto de la red empresarial y social en la que interactúan. Sus vínculos abarcan más allá de los estrictamente empresariales. Son parte «activa» de la vida y desarrollo del entorno. La empresa se constituye así en un «proyecto humano» activo en la construcción de la realidad social y comunitaria. Al mismo tiempo, la fortaleza de la red comunitaria y social facilita el desarrollo de la cultura y acción empresarial. El cambio cualitativo de las organizaciones de tipo empresarial supone especialmente las siguientes tres características: a) modelo de relación interna basado en la generación de conocimiento; b) personas del conocimiento; c) complejidad en la relación con el entorno.

    Norbanako, erakunde, gizarte edo komunitateen arteko erlazio-sare jakin batean dagoen gizarte kapitalaren azterketa eta ebaluazioa erabilgarritasun handiko tresna bihurtu dira erakundeak zuzendu eta kudeatzen dituztenentzat. Sare baten gizarte kapitala neurtuz sarean dauden erlazioen kantitatea eta kalitatea diagnostikatu dezakegu. Garapen iraunkorrerako gaitasunik handiena duten erakundeak beren kultura eta ekintza jarduten diren enpresa- eta gizarte-sarearen osotasunean kokatzen dutenak dira. Beren loturek enpresakoak bakarrik direnak baino gehiago biltzen dute. Inguruko bizitzaren eta garapenaren parte «aktiboa» dira. Horrela enpresa gizarteko eta komunitateko errealitatearen eraikuntzan «gizarte proiektu» aktibo bihurtzen da. Aldi berean, komunitateko eta gizarteko sarearen indarrak kulturaren eta enpresa-ekintzaren garapena errazten du. Enpresa-erakundeen aldaketa kualitatiboak bereziki hiru ezaugarri ditu: a) jakintza sortzean oinarritutako barne erlazioaren eredua; b) jakintzako pertsonak; c) inguruarekiko erlazioaren konplexutasuna.

    The analysis and the evaluation of the social capital that exist in a determined web of individual, organisational, social, community relations, have been built in an instrument of important utility, for the ones who direct and manage the organisations. By measuring the social capital of a web, we can diagnose the quantity and the quality of the existent relations in that web. The organisations that have a major capacity of steady development are the ones that put their culture and action in the whole of the social and management web in which they interact. Their bonds undertake more than the ones that are strictly of management. They are the «active» part of the environment¿s life and development. Thus, the enterprise is constituted in a «human project» which is active in the building of the social and community reality. At the same time, the strength of the social and community web facilitates the development of the management culture and action. The qualitative change of the management organisations, suppose specially, these three following characteristics: model of internal relation, based on the generation of knowledge; people of knowledge; complexity in the relation with the environment.
