Resumen de El pensamiento constructivo y su relación con la visión de sí mismo, del mundo y del futuro en ingresantes de la facultad de ciencias humanas de San Luis

  La investigación tuvo como objetivo explorar la posible relación existente entre Pensamiento Constructivo y la Tríada Cognitiva en alumnos ingresantes de la carrera de licenciatura en psicología de la Universidad Nacional de San Luis.

  Se utilizaron el Inventario de Pensamiento Constructivo de Epstein (1987), que evalúa las formas básicas de pensamiento constructivo o destructivo, en donde a mayor puntaje mejor desempeño en la escala; y el Inventario de la Tríada Cognitiva que consta de treinta y seis ítems, en donde a menor puntaje mayor es la visión negativa de la dimensión. La muestra estuvo integrada por 64 ingresantes de ambos sexos de la carrera de psicología, Facultad de Ciencias Humanas de la UNSL. Los resultados sugieren la existencia de una correlación positiva entre la escala general de Pensamiento Constructivo y cada una de las dimensiones de la Tríada Cognitiva, así también la escala de Pensamiento Supersticioso correlaciona negativamente con las dimensiones Visión de Sí Mismo y Visión del Futuro; mientras que la escala de Emotividad correlaciona positivamente con las dimensiones Visión de Sí Mismo y Visión del Futuro.

  This work is aimed at exploring the possible relationship between Constructive Thinking and the Cognitive Triad in freshmen of Psychology undergraduate program from the UNSL (National University of San Luis). We applied the Constructive Thinking Inventory of Epstein (1987) that evaluates the basic forms of constructive or destructive thinking where the higher scores in the scale indicate a better performance; and the Cognitive Triad Inventory by Beckham and others (1986) of thirty-six items, where lower scores reflect a higher negative view of a certain dimension to a sample of 64 students in early stages. The results suggest the existence of a positive correlation between Constructive Thinking and each dimension of the Cognitive Triad. Likewise, the scale of Superstitious Thinking correlates negatively with the View of Self and the View of Future, and the scale of Emotion correlates positively with the View of Self and the View of Future.
