Es mi intención, al escribir el presente artículo, atraer la atención sobre algunos aspectos que me parecen interesantes en el panorama, cada vez más amplio, de la reflexión general sobre la literatura juvenil. Comienzo haciendo algunas consideraciones teóricas en torno a los conceptos de literatura juvenil y del canon literario de esta literatura, y sigo con algunos comentarios acerca de la lectura y los jóvenes. Por último, expongo algunas conclusiones sobre el mundo de la literatura juvenil que me han parecido interesantes.

The purpose of the present paper is to draw readers¿ attention to some interesting aspects of the increasing panorama of general reflection on children¿s literature. First, I make some theoretical considerations about the concepts children¿s literature and the literary canon of this kind of literature. Then, I make some remarks on reading and young people and finally, I expound some conclusions about the world of children¿s literature that I found interesting.

Gazte literaturaz eta literatura honen kanon literarioaz zenbait pentsaketa egiteaz gain, gazteen irakurzaletasunaz hitz egiten da. Azkenik, gazte literaturari buruzko interesgarriak iruditzen zaizkidan konklusio batzuk azaltzen dira.
