    Este artículo tiene como objeto el análisis de las interrelaciones existentes entre la estructura de trabajo de la agricultura industrial murciana y el fenómeno inmigratorio. Se comprobará el papel estructural que la mano de obra inmigrante cumple en este sistema productivo que hace posible la triunfalmente denominada "huerta de Europa".

    This paper deals with the relationships between the labour structure of the agro industrial sector in the region of Murcia (South-East Spain) and the immigration phenomenon. It gives evidence of the structural role played by the immigrant labour force in the production system which makes possible the so called "Europe's Orchard".
