Two legendary authors, the German writer Walter Benjamin and the French thinker Simone Weil, give us in their disperse works a theory of attention. Both authors consider attention as a phenomenon necessary to enable the communication of experience and all the aesthetic, moral, social and material benefits involved in it. Both authors share a theory of a non intentional attention, connected with physical work, and a nonpolar idea of communication and an aesthetic theory with undeniable spiritual basis.
