    The author describes how in 1963 gave the title of "General Theory of Information" to a matter that had previously the name of "Introduction to Journalism", and which was being taught both in Europe as in USA, to make near to the future professionals of information the general discussion of mass media. The technical developments and the enlarging of public consequences of social communication, drove the author to design a general science of Information, whose proper objective is the communication process, and which has resulted in a broad game of diverse subjects, focused in each of the elements of the process.

    L¿ auteur décrit comment en 1963 il appela Théorie Générale de L'Information une matière qu'avait dans le passé l'épigraphe "Introduction au Journalisme", et qu'était enseignée aussi à L¿ Europe comme aux États Unis avec l'objectif d'approcher les jeunes professionnels de l'information au débat général des média. Le développement technologique et l'élargissement des conséquences publiques de la communication collective l'ont amené alors à dessiner une science générale de l'Information, lequel objectif propre est le procès de la communication, et qu'a donné lieu a une répandue constellation des diverses matières concentrées chacune sur chaque élément du procès.
