  • This article focuses on several Thoinas Wolfe's definitions about time: biological. psychological and historic one. The author projects diferent cathegories of time in his novels and uses his memorv and his imagination to remember and recreate the moment. Like every American writer of his time, or almost everyone. Wolfe travels to Europe. It is when he dedicates himself to writing. and will constitute for his central character, Eugene, a parenthesis in time, an obliged experience
