  • Advanced materials are playing an important role in the development of technologies that will help in solving some of the problems that effect to both generation and storage of electrical energy. In this paper both fuel cells and high energy density batteries are given as typical devices where materials science contributes to vanish an important Society's concern: the maintenance of economical growth while preserving our natural resources and environment
