This paper attempts to analyze the behavior of the Celtic woman in one of the activities traditionally developed by men in the Greek and Roman worlds: cult and religion. In order to carry out this study, we have resorted to the Celtic tradition as well as to the sources supplied by two classical historians, Caesar, Tacitus and the Historia Augusta. We have tried to update their texts by confronting them to documentary evidence on Celtic history
